Our heads are still spinning from a wild and whacky NFL Sunday and NFL odds heap on the opening spread and Over/Under totals for Week 7.
This will be a difficult week to navigate, given the number of wonky results to weigh in addition to several big-name injuries throughout the league. Sunday night’s opening NFL Week 7 odds could look very different when these lines close next weekend.
However, the mission is still clear: get the best number for our opinion.
I give you some NFL picks to make now and some you’ll want to wait on until later for Week 7.

With the Kansas City Chiefs locked into the No. 3 spot in the AFC, Andy Reid will be sitting a handful of key starters, including Patrick Mahomes, making Sunday’s season finale an AFC West battle between Blaine Gabbert and Easton Stick. The Chargers are 3.5-point favorites in the NFL odds at SoFi Stadium.
The Chargers were +13 home dogs vs. the Bills just two weeks ago and although Kansas City is sitting significant starters, is it really worth 16 points and do bettors want to lay -3.5 points with Stick and the Chargers?
I break down the Week 18 NFL odds and offer my free NFL picks for Chiefs and Chargers on January 7.

Finding the best value on NFL odds has become just a little bit easier, as most sportsbooks routinely offer odds boosts and betting promotions on select betting markets.
These specially curated promos range from sportsbook to sportsbook, offering users enhanced prices on props, totals, futures, plus popular parlays — or enticing new users to create an account at a new sportsbook.
Boosts are often time-sensitive, with release times (and expiration dates) being quite spontaneous; it can be tedious to go to every different sportsbook and search for the best bonuses of the week, so we have you covered — we’ve compiled a list of the best Week 2 odds boosts for making your NFL picks!
The following promotions are available in eligible U.S. loc…
There will be no smoke engulfing the doorway of the hotel Lebreros and no crowd of supporters, squashed in and shouting, waiting for the players to walk through them like gladiators into the ring. No fireworks as the bus edges its way through the flares to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán, one of the noisiest stadiums in Spain on its noisiest night. There will be no bus at all unless one of the managers decides to park one. There will not be thousands of fans at training or any at the match but at least there will be a match, football returning behind closed doors after 93 days in limbo.
“Playing without fans is as sad as dancing with your sister,” the Spain manager, Luis Enrique, said. Everyone knows that by now but there may be no fixture …
Frank Lampard has criticised a Premier League fixture schedule that he claims complicates Everton’s survival prospects with an early kick‑off against Manchester United on Saturday.
Everton visit Burnley on Wednesday in a game of huge significance to each team’s prospects of avoiding relegation. They then host United at 12.30pm on Saturday, at the request of broadcasters, and Lampard believes the arrangement is both unnecessary and an unfair burden on his team at a critical stage of the season.

Where are the lemons, the talk of quasi-spiritual forces? How about the holding of hands in the dressing room, a little visualisation? Or the booming out of You’ll Never Walk Alone in training before a trip to Liverpool?
The urge is irresistible, when picking over the early months of Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham tenure, to look for the big secret and the more off-the-wall the better. Something like how one of his Spurs predecessors, Mauricio Pochettino, saw things in citrus fruit and universal energy. Or Mikel Arteta at Arsenal and some of his more unusual motivational moves. Because what has happened at Spurs since Postecoglou’s appointment in June is faintly ridiculous.
Spurs are unbeaten and top of the league. Are they title chal…
Exactly one week after the conclusion of the Western Conference finals and 10 days removed from the end of the Eastern Conference finals, basketball will finally be back. The Mavericks and Celtics will square off in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Thursday, with both teams looking to take a step toward their first title in over a decade. Dallas’ last championship came in 2011, while Boston hasn’t gone all the way since 2008.So, get out the wallet, because at best, you only have seven more NBA games to throw your money on.Whether you’re trying to polish off a season of betting that paid for your kid’s college tuition or chasing losses that will prevent that same kid from even going to college, here are three futures bets that you should take a look at for this year’s Finals:Jayson Tat…
As 2023 approaches, it gives media outlets opportunities to do wrap-ups, year-end lists, and rank anything else in the timeframe of the past 12 months. It’s really the only upside of time being arbitrary and a construct of people in power to make sure the plebeians arrive at the salt mines at 9 a.m. OK, rant over. Now onto the best and worst sports trends of 2022 that I definitely didn’t unapologetically rip off from a G/O Media sister site. I’m not going to label them as good or bad — that’s on you, the reader to determine — because one of the trends I’ve learned in 2022 is to never label anything or anyone. Jose Ramirez hit another homer on Sunday, his 33rd of the year and one that gave him a share of the MLB lead. It was a towering three-run shot that helped propel the Indians over the Angels 4-3, padding their nine-game lead over the Twins in the AL Central. Ramirez is having a ludicrous year, with an fWAR of 7.5— second in MLB, by 0.1, behind only Player of the Generation Mike Trout, who himself is having a career year. Along with his 33 homers, Ramirez has had career-high numbers in almost every notable offensive category, including the all-encompassing ones, like wOBA, wRC+ and OPS—all categories in which he’s in the top-four of all of MLB. Ramirez’s walk to strikeout ratio leads MLB, at 1.33, and his overall walk rate is more than six points higher than his previous career-h…
Some people are fans of the Atlanta Falcons. But many, many more people are NOT fans of the Atlanta Falcons. This 2016 Deadspin NFL team preview is for those in the latter group. Read all the previews so far here. And buy Drew’s new book here. Your team: Atlanta Falcons. Your 2015 record: 8-8, featuring a white-hot 5-0 start that ended in a 3-8 finish… Yes, they lost that game, too. This is all for the best, mind you. No one outside of Samuel L. Jackson actually wants to see the Falcons SUCCEED and then spiritually vacate a playoff spot. Those spots are valuable. I can’t have these Football Hawks fritter them away in front of an audience of zero people. The Falcons are where excitement goes to die. They should be forced to play on Tuesday mornings. Your coach: GusDan BraGanoPe…
