The Ireland international enters the final year of his contract next summer and he has already informed the club chiefs that he will not be signing a new deal.
McGeady has found it hard to adapt to life in Russia and is eager to return to the United Kingdom.
As a result, Spartak chiefs have no option but to sell the player at the end of the current campaign, and they are looking to get around €7.5 million for the highly rated midfielder.

Iraklis were in the market for a keeper , and Fernandes, who is looking for first team football with a view to securing a seat on the Portuguese flight to South Africa this summer, fit the bill perfectly.
Fernandes was born in Edmonton, Canada and was with the Vancouver Whitecaps before crossing the Atlantic to join FC Porto. After short spells with Porto, Celta Vigo and Jahn Regensburg, he signed for PAOK in 2003. After five successful seasons with PAOK, he transferred to Bochum for a fee of 1.2 million euros in May 2008.
